Training and Education

LifeLine EMS has an extensive history of exceeding the minimum standards for all educational requirements. Protecting the Integrity of our processes is part of our core value system. LifeLine’s Training and Education Center provides premier EMS training and education for our caregivers and our partner communities. Ranging from required certifications like CPR to more advanced training opportunities like Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), our professionally trained educators execute and deliver quality courses and impactful programs driving results to improve patient outcome and impact all patient care scenarios.

LifeLine EMS and its partners are accredited to teach a variety of well- known and sought-after certification courses through the American Heart Association (AHA), The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and The Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In addition, our Training and Education Center educators all design, develop and author their own courses.

Our ability to produce proprietary education allows for our team member clinicians to take full advantage of unique and meaningful education so they can perform better tomorrow than they did today. Our expert simulation labs and instructors build confidence and competence in all our EMS professionals. We ensure that all assessment-based skills, airway management, IV management and medication administration, communication strategies, critical thinking ability, and team member / team leader skills are continually assessed and evaluated, preparing our staff to handle any situations appropriately.

Specialty Programs

LifeLine EMS is devoted to proving our investment in our team members’ futures. Our mission is to provide education and opportunities to help our employees realize and reach their goals.

In early 2022, LifeLine developed a department of Special Programs and Projects. LifeLine invested significant monetary capital and human resources to fund and support these projects. Every program is to be analyzed through KPIs. The data yielded is then forwarded to a leader within the business operations for further implementation. Project after project, the department continues to develop and reimagine career progression and competency opportunities within the healthcare space. Examples of our proprietary programs include the award-winning FIELD program, our paramedic sponsorship, and many other unique team member engagement initiatives.

NAEMT

NAEMT education provides a sound foundation of key principles, emphasizing critical thinking skills, and evidence-based knowledge which affords EMS practitioners the ability to make the best decisions on behalf of their patients. NAEMT education courses are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). They also are recognized for recertification requirements by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
