In 2002, Maxim co-founded LifeLine EMS in Los Angeles County with only a six-person staff and two ambulances. In the early years, Maxim – a newly licensed emergency medical technician – frequently responded to calls himself, handled late-night dispatching, and implemented marketing efforts highlighting LifeLine’s mission: serving and protecting the community in emergencies.
Danielle joined LifeLine EMS in early 2022, relocating from the East Coast. From Boston, Danielle came to LifeLine as a dynamic executive with progressive leadership experience in developing and implementing advanced EMS strategies on a local, national and international level. Since choosing EMS as a second career in 2007, Danielle has delivered success across program development, education/training, communication, marketing, talent management, strategic partnerships, growth/scale and community engagement. A true change agent, skilled at forging lasting professional relationships critical for converting challenges to opportunities and successes.
Recognized as a decisive leader with a deep understanding of business priorities and a unique ability to combine strategy development and thought leadership with implementation and operational execution. Credentialed as an instructor and coordinator of more than ten internationally recognized certification courses including serving as an American Heart Association Community Training Site Coordinator.
Currently an affiliate faculty member for the NAEMT course, Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and TECC. Danielle has held previous positions including; Director of Pro EMS Center for MEDICS, Vice President Strategic Initiatives and Performance Improvement, and Chief Strategy Officer. Her most favorite and meaningful role is that of a Paramedic. Danielle continues to consult nationally as an expert in the Tactical Medicine space and currently serves as the Chair of the California Ambulance Association Education Committee and on the Board for the Southern California Ambulance Association.
Brendan began his relationship with LifeLine EMS as a consultant in 2019, and most recently joined as the Chief Revenue Officer in early 2022. Brendan is an accomplished, results driven, established and progressive executive with versatile experience in revenue, billing operations, technology and strategy. A trusted partner and advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team providing transformational leadership, change management and strategic guidance. He is an expert in EMS revenue cycle management, data analysis/reporting, and complex problem solving. Brendan is a strong leader and collaborative communicator with a passion for identifying complex problems and developing sustainable and scalable solutions while guiding the organization through complex transformations. Brendan's EMS experience began in Philadelphia as an EMT, that experience and training along with his advanced degrees in computer science shaped the unique landscape for innovation and excellence that he brings to the industry. Leading and influencing the revenue cycle at LifeLine EMS, Brendan's ability for data analytics and reporting allows the team to see what we measure, therefore managing it more appropriately. Brendan's love for baseball has motivated him to attend games at all but 4 US ballfields.
Matthew joined the Lifeline EMS team in 2008. With over 20 years of experience as an auditor and a bookkeeper, he has grown into his current role as VP of Finance. Matthew works directly with the CEO and ownership, providing financial reports and business analysis. He promotes active interdepartmental teamwork and believes in continuing education as a means to grow - not just the individual, but the company as a whole.
Matthew, A.K.A. Matt, A.K.A. Mateo, enjoys the business of solving problems and is always happy to help his fellow team members with any challenges they meet. In his free time, you can find him rooting for the Los Angeles Dodgers, playing double-bogey golf, and composing silly songs about his friends at get-togethers.
Teena began her career at LifeLine EMS in 2016 as a Critical Care Transport RN. Prior to transport, Teena worked as a Critical Care RN for 11 years with experience in rapid response, hospice, and clinical education. In 2018, Teena became Director of Quality Assurance and Critical Care Coordinator for LifeLine. During her time at LifeLine, Teena earned her BSN and MSN, currently pending her CCRN certification. In these roles, Teena assisted in the growth and expansion of the Critical Care Program as well as ensuring clinical excellence. In February 2022, Teena became the VP of Clinical and Quality Operations where she currently oversees 50 RNs and 10 RTs. Teena enjoys making crafts including candles, attending concerts and spending time with family.
Debbie joined LifeLine EMS in November 2020 during the peak of the COVID Pandemic. Her “Jack-of-all-trades” (eclectic knowledge and skill set) is massively valued by us here at LifeLine, as it is a positive attribute. Her emotional intellect as well as applied logistical mind is instrumental to our team. Debbie’s integrity highlights the strength of her character in her fearless aptitude and attitude to hold people accountable. She understands that details matter, and with 25+ years of various experiences in her roles of Executive, Government/Public Affairs, and Human Resources; including her numerous volunteer services to various charitable organizations from home, in South Florida. She is an advocate for communication that takes charge and speaks for those that are unable to speak for themselves.
Debbie was Invited to the White House, hosting numerous Presidential fundraiser events along with the Three Tenors, and the 1997 Florida Marlins World Series. She loves traveling to experience lovely cuisines, wines, historical sites, and enjoys visiting museums. She lives by the understanding that education never stops, only the willingness to learn does.
Nichole Sternquist began her career with LifeLine EMS in 2011. Nichole excelled in her initial role as a call taker in the Communication Center and quickly moved up the ranks. Her strong people skills, dedication and genuine care for her teammates allowed for her advancement into her role of Director of Communications and Director of People Operations. Nichole's value of consistency and structure along with her soft skills creates a culture of excellence both within her two departments and throughout LifeLine. Her amazing organizational skills help to keep the team on track and seize the day. Nichole loves being a mom and is teaching her daughter to be a Dodger's fan early on.
Dustin joined LifeLine EMS in 2016 with vast experience in private EMS operations, EMS communications and with a fire service background. Dustin's original role with LifeLine EMS within the communications department allowed him to demonstrate his ability for pre-planning and logistical excellence. In 2017, Dustin began his work with the fleet, ensuring appropriate care and prevention for all of the company's vehicles. As the Director of Fleet and Logistics, Dustin now leads a large team of Vehicle Service Technicians, fleet mechanics and logistical support personnel to ensure operational readiness and peak performance. As Director, Dustin oversees all aspects of Fleet Management for Lifeline Ambulance, which includes writing specifications, purchasing, preventative maintenance, repairs and operations for over twenty (20) satellite stations.
Dustin was a firefighter for the better part of his 20’s and is currently a Respiratory Care Practitioner with an RRT credential.
Katie joined LifeLine EMS in 2022. She began her EMS career in 2012 as a New Hampshire & Massachusetts EMT progressing to an AEMT in 2015. Shortly after she moved into a leadership role as a direct supervisor and then to a Field Manager. Katie expanded her leadership and administrative experience as a Project Manager. Katie recently joined the LifeLine EMS team as Manager of Process Improvement & Support. She has a passion for finding creative solutions that support the team, patients and communities. Outside of EMS, Katie has close to 20 years of management & customer service experience. Katie has visited over 13 different countries with an African Safari in Tanzania being her most favorite of adventures.
Aster joined the LifeLine EMS team in 2019 after a career change from the biosciences. She began as an EMT, served as an Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager, and currently holds the title of Special Programs and Projects Manager. In this role, Aster collaborates with various departments to enhance efficiency, effect change amongst EMS culture, and encourage healthcare personnel to become critical-thinking caregivers and leaders. Aster believes that every dedicated healthcare provider deserves the opportunity to reach their professional goals and that a career at LifeLine EMS can be the catalyst to success.
Aster is a lifelong learner and attempts to read an article per day on any subject that catches her fancy to stay current on a multitude of topics.
David began his career at Lifeline EMS in 2010 as an EMT. David remained in the field for a total of 4 years before receiving a promotion to Dispatcher in the Communications Center. His leadership abilities in the communications center led to a promotion to Operations Supervisor. David’s continued success then led to advancement into Quality Training Manager, then Operations Manager and in 2019 to Director of Operations. In 2020, David took some time away to pursue a career goal of becoming a Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputy. In 2021, after working as a Deputy for a year, David returned to LifeLine EMS moving into his current role as EMS Operations Manager, Orange County.
James joined the LifeLine team in 2018 as an EMT. James spent a majority of his shifts working on an overnight Critical Care Transport unit. James then progressed into the role of a Field Training Officer where he demonstrated his great leadership abilities and was subsequently promoted to the Supervisor for LA County. James strongly believes and promotes that “everyone should have a work life balance and enjoy their job just like our team does here.” James has a passion for fitness and can lift exceptionally heavy things.
Daniel began his career in EMS in 2012 as an EMT in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. After some time working on the ambulance, he was given the opportunity to dispatch and has not looked back since. Daniel joined the LifeLine EMS team in 2014 as a call taker in the communications center and grew into a lead role. In 2017 he had changed companies to gain vital 911 experience at American Medical Response where he was a Dispatch Supervisor for 3 years before returning to the LifeLine team in 2020. Daniel is currently the Communications Manager and works diligently to ensure the best outcomes for Lifeline EMS and all the patients we serve.
Daniel is a big baseball fan and loves to spend his free time watching the Padres and being a dad.
Amanda began her career at LifeLine EMS in 2016 as an EMT. She worked for several years as an Field Training Officer on a Critical Care Transport ambulance alongside RNs transporting acutely ill patients and mentoring new EMTs. After almost three years she transitioned into the communication center as the Critical Care Specialist. She now works as the Clinical Manager in the communication center where she manages Specialty Care Transports. Amanda provides training and education, and performs Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement. Amanda's management style is people-positive and she is always willing to offer support or answer questions.
Amanda aspires to obtain a master’s degree in public health and enjoys reading fantasy novels and crocheting in her free time.
Konnor began his career with LifeLine EMS in 2017 as an EMT and transitioned to a Field Training Officer shortly thereafter. With Konnor’s strong leadership skills, he was next promoted to Operations Supervisor. With his enthusiasm for education and training, along with his attention to detail and friendly demeanor, Konnor has advanced into his current role as the Improvement and Clinical Quality Manager. Konnor ensures that the high quality of patient care is universal throughout all newly inducted candidates. He is also the on-site AHA BLS instructor and oversees the BRIDGE, START, and FTO training platforms. Konnor's endless motivation and positive outlook encourages EMS professionals to succeed in their roles and aim for daily success. Konnor has become a ""master-of-all-trades"" and a great leadership example for the team. Konnor is working diligently on TikTok fame for his dogs.
Scott started his career at LifeLine EMS as an EMT in 2017, advancing into a role as a Field Training Officer and then into his current role of Field Training Supervisor. He believes that the continuous education of healthcare providers is imperative to the future of EMS. As a Field Training Supervisor and with his dedication to educating new and seasoned EMTs as well as any interested members of the public, Scott has played an integral role in molding the future of our organization’s team members. Scott applies his experience, great patience, and knowledge of scope of practice with everyone he teaches. Scott is highly skilled with the START, BRIDGE, and FTO training programs. Scott is an outdoor enthusiast and frequents our National Parks.
Maria, originally from the east coast, joined LifeLine EMS in 2019 and has been an Emergency Technician for the last 6 years. With her wealth of experience, knowledge and leadership skills, Maria has advanced into her current role as Lead Supervisor. Maria has past involvement and training in water search and rescue while working for a fire department on the east coast.
Gary is a native to Orange County and began his career with LifeLine EMS in 2016 as an Emergency Medical Technician. He has a passion and focus for training and retaining quality EMTs to continue and improve excellence in patient care. Because of his dedication, he advanced into a Field Training Officer position in 2020. Gary's recent promotion to EMS Supervisor will allow him to excel in the next steps of leadership. Gary is well-respected by the LifeLine team for his honest and genuine perspective. Gary’s favorite mantra is "make it work."
Nick joined the LifeLine EMS team in early 2022, bringing 8 years of EMS experience and 6 years of 911 knowledge and expertise. His fire-based EMS role developed Nick's understanding of emergency response as it relates to efficiency, efficacy and prehospital experience. Nick completed paramedic school in 2022 and is excited to soon expand his scope of practice. Nick's rapid transition from EMT to Field Training Officer to EMS Supervisor reflects his dedication, passion and knowledge to provide clinical and operational excellence.
Nick enjoys coaching his kids’ youth sports teams, mainly tackle football.
Kyle began his career at LifeLine EMS in 2020. He started as an EMT and then worked the majority of his field experience as an Field Training Officer on Critical Care Transport ambulances. Kyle's interest in clinical excellence and creating a positive patient care experience made him a great candidate for his current role as EMS Supervisor. Kyle looks forward to developing his career at LifeLine EMS and wants to help other healthcare professionals build confidence in their skills and advance their futures in EMS.
In Kyle’s free time, he enjoys playing Ice hockey and rooting for his favorite team the LA Kings. We thank Kyle for his Military Service
Darlene began her career as an EMT at LifeLine EMS in 2016. The same year, she advanced to an FTO position, where she educated many employees. Her curiosity and fascination with "behind-the-scenes" EMS operations drove her to apply for a role in the Communications department. In 2017, she became the night Dispatch Lead. After a couple of years in that position, she assumed the role of Communications Supervisor. In her years with the organization, she has witnessed the business grow and exceed its capabilities numerous times and feels that her own personal growth advanced with it.
Outside work, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
Lance began his career at Lifeline Ambulance in November of 2018 as a Call Taker in Dispatch . In 2019, Lance was promoted to Main Dispatcher where he oversaw and coordinated 50 units across LA and Orange Counties to ensure that crews were running calls efficiently and effectively. Lance now holds the position of Dispatch Supervisor and has been assisting and training his fellow Dispatch staff. He has had a positive effect on the Communications Team. Lance is a SneakerHead, also known as a sneaker enthusiast and Lance enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 dogs.
Janae joined LifeLine EMS in 2019 as a Billing Clerk. Committed to her growth and professional excellence, Janae has earned a degree in Business Administration and Information. Her extensive knowledge and experience in customer service highlighted Janae as the perfect candidate for the People Operations Assistant role. Her time in People Operations has inspired her to enhance her practice by pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management. In Janae’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and husky pup, Bella.
Cesar began his career at LifeLine EMS in 2005 and has worked in various positions including Billing Specialist, Claims Collector, Supervisor and most recently Billing Manager. Cesar oversees and monitors all aspects of billing, collections and claims compliance for the organization. Cesar has many years of experience in the medical industry and brings 7 years of experience as a medical claims collector and auditor in the field of radiology prior to transitioning to Emergency Medical Services.
Matt joined LifeLine EMS beginning of 2022. Matt brings with him experience as Billing Team Lead, Financial Analyst, Revenue Cycle Analyst and Performance Improvement Specialist. Matt has proven a successful track record of managing people as a team lead and manager. His financial analyst background has taken him to Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst by providing analytical, forecasting and report and project support to senior management-related finance and billing functions. Matt is a native and resident of Boston, and a graduate from the University of Massachusetts. Matt loves sports, mainly baseball, basketball and soccer. He spends free time fixing up his house or spending time with his wife and dog. He also loves playing video games, as he says it is the easiest way to kill 5 hours of his life with nothing to show for it.
Crystal has been employed at LifeLine EMS since 2012 after graduating top of her class in Healthcare from American Career College. She was promoted to a leadership role after three years, culminating in her current title as Billing Manager. Crystal believes advocating for positive patient experiences and patient rights is the best way to exceed departmental goals. Crystal oversees eighteen billing members, accounts and collections, claims submissions, and works in tandem with the cashier for the Month-End Close process. Crystal aims to create a peaceful and dependable work environment where everyone can perform their best. Her dedication to her duties has gained the respect and admiration of her employees and peers.
Kaila began her career at LifeLine EMS in 2020 as an Engagement Specialist and Billing Supervisor. She quickly excelled in her role by using her knowledge of social media marketing, graphic advertising design, and leadership. She has a degree in communication studies with a minor in marketing from California State University, Long Beach. During Kaila’s final year of college, she got the chance to present a marketing deck to the Disney CEOs for the rebranding of the Disney Hits playlist campaign. As a consequence, her group was awarded seats at the Hollywood Bowl's Little Mermaid live symphonic concert.
Beth joined LifeLine EMS in 2013. With over three decades of marketing experience including the role of Executive Marketing Director within the healthcare industry. Beth is always eager to explore and open new accounts and manage current ones ensuring effective and timely delivery of our service lines. Beth works closely with the team to achieve success and to establish strong long term business relationships with our healthcare partner facilities. When she’s not hard at work, Beth takes care of her family and pets, seven cats and one german shepherd dog.
Tom joined LifeLine EMS in 2015. Tom remains committed to ensuring optimal efficiency and providing the best medical transportation services for our patients and their families. Tom entered into the industry of marketing and sales in healthcare in 2007. His previous roles included; Community Liaison in Hospice Care, Territory Manager for IV Infusion sales, and Territory Manager, diagnostic lab sales. Outside of work, Tom loves to be outdoors and explore nature. He is an avid snowboarder, old school skateboarder, mountain biker, and loves to ride his unicycle.
Mei joined LifeLine EMS’s Market Team in 2010. Mei proudly works as a Marketing Manager expanding LifeLine’s business in the San Gabriel Valley area and parts of Los Angeles and managing acute care hospitals and managed care medical groups, including health plans. Mei brings great knowledge, customer communication skills and experience with 8 years in the pharmaceutical industry before shifting into EMS. She also has 21 years of marketing and business development experience. Mei is grateful and excited to be working with LifeLine’s well-diverse, dynamic organization and its team members. In her free time Mei is fond of travel, enjoys beautiful nature, architecture and discovering different cultures and amazing people. She also loves the company of her amazing friends and believes in the power of fashion and professionalism.
Bella joined LifeLine EMS in 2016 as an EMT on a BLS Ambulance and then moved onto Critical Care Transport. Bella next transitioned into a Field Training officer before she held an operations supervisor role until 2019 when she was Operations Manager and head of recruitment. In 2020 Bella, transitioned into the Client Relations department as Manager of Client relations and Recruitment. Prior to working at LifeLine EMS, Bella worked at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach in the ER as a Lead Clerical Coordinator. Before moving to California, she worked as a full-time professional nanny, CNA in a skilled nursing facility, and a PCA for children with disabilities and developmental needs in Minnesota, where she lived for 15 years. Bella was born in Pakistan and has 18 siblings, she is number 15 of 19. Those closest to Bella say that her best attribute is patience.
Adam is the Director of Information Technology at LifeLine EMS. In 2003, Adam designed and built LifeLine EMS’s first network infrastructure, which has been expanding and improving under his watchful supervision ever since. Adam is devoted to his prodigious creations and dedicates many hours to their development and success. Adam received his first computer in 1985, and his insatiable curiosity to understand the mechanisms that govern computer technology began there. He is particularly fascinated by the omnipotent power granted in manipulating code and hardware. Adam’s favorite quote is, “The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer.”
Angel began his EMS career at LifeLine EMS in 2019. Over the years, he has become equipped with several skills like patient assessment, airway management, and ECG interpretation. His experience with BLS and CCT transports has allotted him many opportunities for knowledge and growth as an EMT. He became an FTO to share these wisdoms with the newly hired candidates to shape them into capable healthcare professionals.
Braulio began his healthcare journey at LifeLine EMS in 2019. His career goal is to become a registered nurse culminating with licensure as a nurse practitioner. Braulio's patience and empathetic approach to training encourages tentative new EMTs to practice their skills while motivating seasoned EMTs to utilize their scope of practice to make an excellent patient care experience.
Bruce started his career in EMS at LifeLine in 2021. He is “thankful for an opportunity to impact the community in the Los Angeles area [and] honored to have had the opportunity to make lifelong friends and meet courageous, skilled, and talented healthcare professionals.” One of Bruce’s favorite things about being an FTO is the ability to teach others and help them transition from students to full-fledged first responders. Outside of work, he is an instructor at the school that taught him his EMT skills. There, he enjoys the ability to witness a student’s EMS journey, from their first skills test to their first call in the field.
Bryan is a capable and confident EMT that joined our team in 2022. He combines patience, humor, and a standard of excellence that exemplifies the best qualities required for patient care at LifeLine EMS. Bryan has many years of training and development experience on his resume, furthered by natural leadership skills and passion, making him a successful FTO. Bryan is honored to serve in his position and takes pride in the ability to assist future LifeLine EMTs in their journeys.
Cameron has been working as an EMT since early 2020. Cameron became an FTO to educate and engage future EMS providers. His jovial affect and patience create a great learning environment for new candidates and partners alike. With BLS and CCT experience in his repertoire, Cameron intends to utilize his communication and skills proficiency to become a paramedic serving the greater Los Angeles area.
Chris joined the LifeLine team in 2022 after completing his undergraduate degree at Cal State University, Fullerton, majoring in Cellular and Developmental Biology. Dedicated to providing the best quality of care, Chris has a thorough knowledge of his scope of practice and represents the patient and their well-being during every transport. Along with his necessary EMT qualifications, he has received his certification to read ECGs through UCLA. He proudly serves with LifeLine EMS as an FTO with the aim of attending Physician Assistant school.
Garret, a Houston native, started his career at LifeLine EMS in 2022. After graduating high school, he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic in the oil field, developing resilience to extreme conditions and challenging tasks. After moving to California, Garret engaged his creative side and devoted many hours and practice to achieve the title of Master Barber. He attributes his work ethic and critical thinking skills to his diverse job experience. Garret found his passion in the field of EMS after the 2020 pandemic and believes it to be a rewarding task encompassing all of his skill set. He interviewed for the FTO position because he believes that an encouraging and positive training experience can have a rippling effect on the successful outcomes of the employees within an organization.
Enrique joined the LifeLine team in 2019, passionate about serving the Southern California community. His friendliness is paired with unwavering patient care excellence and service quality, which he imparts to his trainees. He approaches training with an understanding and sincerity, creating a safe environment while correcting areas for improvement. Enrique aims to become a paramedic to expand his scope of practice to serve a more significant number of individuals. Outside work, he enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
Erika, a Bay Area native, began her healthcare journey at LifeLine EMS in 2020. Erika graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a degree in Molecular Biology before pursuing a career as an EMT. During her time at LifeLine, she advanced to the FTO position as her leadership abilities, and skill proficiency became evident to her supervisors. Erika's serious yet approachable manner makes her a dominant force amongst our field employees. Erika hopes to use her EMT experience advantageously to further her career goal of attending medical school to become a physician.
Guillermo joined the LifeLine EMS team in 2021. With a keen eagerness to learn and grow within EMS, he has worked on CCT shifts for most of his field experience. Guillermo feels that it is an environment that allows EMTs to thrive and witness a higher acuity beyond their BLS scope of practice. Guillermo and the registered nurses he works alongside have formed a comradery, and he attributes his growth to their teamwork and willingness to inform and instruct. Guillermo became an FTO to allow newly hired EMTs to experience these critical and impactful shifts.
In addition to his employment at LifeLine EMS, Guillermo works as an event medic after learning about the mass casualty incident at a Texas concert.
Haleigh has worked as an EMT at LifeLine EMS since 2018. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Haleigh joined the field of EMS to get relevant medical experience with patients before pursuing her career goal as a medical doctor. Her want to help others and years as an EMT have allowed her to work more efficiently without sacrificing patient care. Haleigh became an FTO to impart her knowledge and problem-solving methods to the new generations of EMTs. Her goal is to instruct and motivate her trainees to make decisive actions more quickly, as it will make a difference in a life-threatening situation.
Jordan Patrick, or JP, began his EMT career at LifeLine EMS in 2022. He feels that he has grown professionally and is devoted to being an emergency medical provider. His leadership skills and want to help others earned him the opportunity to communicate his passion for the profession. JP is "honored to help teach the next generation of future heroes and help jumpstart their careers in the world of EMS.
Joy joined the LifeLine team in 2020. She believes that success in this job does not come by using the same approach to solve each problem and that anyone can find the job rewarding whether they have experience or are just beginning their journey. Joy is a well-liked FTO due to her clear communication skills, patience, and motivating aura. Her career intent is to grow as a field provider within LifeLine EMS and EMS in its entirety. She sets off on adventures with her husband and five kids when she is not working or studying.
Nathan began his career in healthcare at LifeLine EMS in the spring of 2020. Possessing a servant's heart, Nathan wanted to was to assist on the frontlines during the novel coronavirus. He began as a BLS EMT transporting lower acuity patients, but his eagerness to do more led to his transition to critical care transport shifts. Nathan believes working alongside registered nurses with higher acuity patients led to a more fulfilling career path. Due to his sharp mind, empathy, and commanding personality, he was recruited as a Field Training Officer to ensure new hire candidates receive quality training and the necessary tools to become great EMTs. Nathan began his healthcare journey in 2021. Nathan attempts to make a difference in every trainee's experience by offering them his unique insight into providing efficient and professional patient care. Although his career path is not to remain within EMS, Nathan is an exemplary member of the LifeLine team and accomplishes his job responsibilities to the most exceptional standard.
Nathan's true passion outside of LifeLine EMS is dance. His professional dance career began after he graduated from The Juilliard School under director Lawrence Rhodes. Nathan is a founding member of the L.A. Dance Project. He collaborated on creations, films, and revivals with critically acclaimed choreographers in prestigious locales expanding from the Hollywood Bowl to the Gardens at the Palace of Versailles. His ""It Gets Better"" won 1st runner-up for the Capezio Award for Choreographic Excellence. He then joined The TL Collective, Nickerson-Rossi Dance, and was an adjunct professor of UCLA Dance.
Noah Marino started with Lifeline EMS in 2021. In just a short time, Noah found his love of working with patients and fellow EMTs and decided to pursue the next step in his career and become a Field Training Officer. In addition, Noah has increased his skills by consistently working on critical care shifts with nurses and other specialty care professionals. Noah continues to grow his passion for the medical field daily and always strives to give high-quality patient care to each person he encounters.
Omar began his career with Lifeline EMS in late 2021, serving as an EMT on a BLS unit. After two months of continuous superior performance, he transitioned to a CCT unit overseeing patients who required a higher level of care during transport. Omar credits his rapid progression to the high-quality field training his FTOs provided him when he first began. Omar now seeks to help other EMTs achieve similar success through high-quality training geared towards building technical competence, confidence, and operational excellence.
Cristian, Originally from La Quinta began his EMS career in 2017 after becoming a reserve fireman for the Riverside County fire department for 2 years. Cristian attended Rio Hondo’s EMT program where shortly after he was hired by another EMS provider where he worked as an EMT for 5 years and gained 911 knowledge and experience. Cristian joined LifeLine EMS in 2022 through LifeLine’s Focus In EMS Leadership Development Program. With his successful completion of the program Cristian quickly transitioned into a supervisor role. Cristian has a passion to do more to help pave the way for future EMTs and to pay it forward. He feels honored to work alongside the leadership team we have here at lifeline-EMS.

Dillon relocated from Seattle, Washington, to join us in Sunny LA. While originally from the rolling hills of Tennessee, he and his family are enjoying the West Coast life. He comes to LifeLine EMS with over 15 years in EMS, including experience in leadership, education, operations, and change management. An accomplished strategic leader with a zest for productivity and culture building, Dillon is passionate about the patient experience and has a strong desire to drive connections and human interactions for the community and our crews. Dillon received his Paramedic education in Indianapolis and attended Critical Care school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dillon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Post-undergrad, he attended a Master’s program in Experimental Psychology at the same university.
Dillon has an extensive work history in operations and education, including, including his most recent role as the Regional Director of Operations for a nationwide organization in Western Washington. He spent time as a Program Director of Public Safety, which included education and oversight of EMS and Fire Science Education.
Nick joined LifeLine during the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic. When most were exiting the Healthcare space, Nick wanted to give back and assist the operation to ensure our community members could be cared for in the best way during this difficult time.
Nick’s initial role in March of 2019 was a part-time Vehicle Service Technician responsible for restocking the ambulances and ensuring they were response ready. He soon graduated college with a degree in chemistry and mathematics and obtained his Emergency Medical Dispatcher Certification with the hopes of joining our Communications team. Nick has enjoyed his 3 years with the organization and hopes to further his career in healthcare. He is pleased to be a Dispatch Supervisor and works tirelessly each day to improve communication and deployment within the organization.
Angelica, a dedicated EMS professional with a wealth of experience spanning 16 years, derives immense fulfillment from her ability to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. Throughout her diverse career, she has held several positions all which highlight her talent for attention to detail. When she's not busy with work, Angelica treasures quality time with her granddaughters and family, finding joy in reading and indulging her passion for baking.
Austin, a dedicated EMS professional with six years of experience, finds his greatest fulfillment in being a source of support for those in need and making a positive impact on their lives. His EMS journey began as an EMT, where he spent four years in the field before earning a promotion to Field Training Officer (FTO). After six months as an FTO, he further ascended to the role of Operations Supervisor, which he has diligently held for the past two years. During his downtime, Austin enjoys staying fit through weightlifting and gym sessions, along with pursuing hobbies like snowboarding, watching various sports, and playing games with friends. As a leader in EMS, he thrives on sharing his knowledge and experiences with both new and seasoned employees, believing that mutual learning and support are essential. His motivation as a leader stems from the desire to be a guiding force and a source of assistance for his team members.
Damien, an experienced EMS professional with nearly a decade of service, finds deep fulfillment in his role, primarily driven by the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives during their moments of need and to give back to the community. His EMS journey has been multifaceted, with various roles held, including EMT, FTO, and many different roles in operations management. Beyond these titles, he has actively participated in diverse aspects of EMS, from dispatch and logistics to training, quality assurance, recruitment, and retention. In his downtime, Damien revels in the company of loved ones, globe-trotting, acquiring new knowledge, and honing his skills in car repair. In her current role with LifeLine, she finds fulfillment in applying her expertise to ensure the smooth operation of behind-the-scenes tasks and processes, allowing the client-facing staff to excel. Her transition to EMS represents a significant shift, and she relishes the opportunity to contribute directly to the local community's well-being. When not working, Michelle enjoys the outdoors through activities like bicycling, hiking, and long walks. Her motivation as a leader in EMS stems from the desire to make a substantial impact after years of navigating large global corporations, relishing the chance to be part of a growing company with a direct connection to the local community.
